| Concerned about Our Democracy? Feeling Disempowered? You are not alone! Wisdom Council March 31 You are invited to hear Victoria’s Wisdom Council – the first in Canada – present its findings. Saturday, March 31, 2007 4:00–5:30 p.m. Fairfield Activity Centre (new horizons) 380 Cook Street, Victoria The Wisdom Council is a small group of randomly selected people who symbolically represent all the people of Victoria. Council members discover what public issues they feel are most important; they explore possible solutions, and create a unanimous statement summarizing their work. The statement is presented to the public at a meeting immediately following the Wisdom Council. The hope is that the Council will stimulate a broad public discussion of the issues it identifies. www.WiseDemocracyVictoria.com Contact: 598-5917 or 598-0124 | Concerned about Our Democracy?
